TRY OUT YOUR FIRST CLASS WITHOUT OBLIGATION!

If it’s not the right fit for you, no payment is necessary. If you love the class and would like to sign up, see our front desk after your class!

Please note:The class is held outside. If there is inclement weather, class will be cancelled. Classes are also not held on weekends of any major holiday. Please contact us if you’re not sure if class will be in session on a particular day.

Our skilled dog trainers offer a wealth of experience and can train your dog with obedience classes and private training sessions. They work on everything from obedience to becoming an American Kennel Association Canine Good Citizen to fixing problematic doggie behaviors like barking, chewing, jumping, housebreaking, and aggression. We offer puppy classes as well as private sessions with just you and your dog.

We hold 6-week group sessions focusing on positive reinforcement and word marks or clicker sounds to accurately mark good behavior. Each dog is treated as an individual and training methods are tailored to suit your dog and your lifestyle. We work on building the relationship between you and your dog so that you can help your dog learn obedience commands, maintain proper behavior and learn to follow your leadership out of love and respect.

JESSICA

In addition to being one of our managers, Jessica is our group obedience class trainer. From a small child she always knew she was meant to work with dogs; by eight years old she was already training yellow labs for her family! At nineteen years old she started her career at WagVille, which gave her an opportunity to observe and communicate with an expanded list of breeds and personalities. Michael Ellis became her mentor during her time spent at his training academy in Santa Rosa, California, who emphasized how important clear and consistent methods are. Jessica fully believes that no matter what background or personality a dog has, they can be trained. The keys to it all are time, patience and understanding. As an owner it’s important to hone management skills and learn to communicate your desires to your dog as well as learning their needs and expectations from you. A balanced relationship means more success in training, which even furthers a healthy, happy bond.
